District News

Please help me in welcoming Mrs. Brittany Morris to the District Office as our new Administrative Assistant. Brittany brings a good skill set to the office. She was an Administrative Assistant with the Alabama Bureau of Investigations and the Alabama Department of Revenue.
Brittany has a Bachelor of Legal Studies and is presently working on a Masters of Business Administration through the University of West Florida.
She is married to the Rev. David Morris, pastor of St. Mark UMC, here in Pensacola. They have three children.
I hope you will join me in welcoming her to our District office.

I want to thank everyone who participated in the school supplies drive for Annual Conference. Susan Hunt informed me that the Pensacola District had the highest percentage of churches participating of all our Districts! I give God thanks for each of you who encouraged participation.
This has been a week for our moving pastors. We had the following changes in the Pensacola District:

Dr. Jeff Spicer (Melissa) who served Mary Esther
Rev. Bob Bailey (Judy) who served Warrington
Rev. Connie Ragghianti (Al) one of our Deacons.
These persons have served the church faithfully and we wish them well in this new chapter in their lives.

Moving Out of the District:
Elizabeth Sullivan (Crosspoint) is moving to South Carolina to serve an appointment there
Rev. Lew Wilder (Crosspoint) serving the Choctaw Beach church as a retired status
Ebb Hagan (Jay) serving Chipley
Kathy Knight (Milton FUMC) serving Kingswood
We wish all these pastors the very best in their new appointments. They all have served us well!

Moving within our District:
Rev. David Cook serving both Cottage Hill & McDavid
Rev. Ted Johnson, who has been serving McDavid, will now be serving Warrington
We give God thanks for their ministry.

New to Our District:
Nathan Adkison serving as a Crosspoint Associate Pastor
Cecil Jackson comes to us from Dauphin Island and will be serving Jay
Dr. Sam Parkes come to us from Cloverdale in Dothan and will be serving Mary Esther
Steve Warren comes to us from St. Luke Enterprise and will be serving Milton FUMC
David Garvin will be joining the staff at Shalimar UMC as their youth minister
Please help me in welcoming all these new pastors to the Pensacola District.

Please join me in praying for the pastors and churches in our District where there are changes being made. I am thankful for each of you and for the great work you are doing. I look forward to another year of joining with you in doing Kingdom Work!

God Bless!
Dr. Tim Trent
Pensacola District Superintendent
