As We Prepare For The
Epiphany Sunday
May our ministries bring the new life that you
intend for all people. We ask this in the name of Christ our Lord. Amen
Happy New Year! It’s the beginning of another year, but Christmas ISN’T over yet! This Sunday, January 6 th  is Epiphany, the last of the twelve days of Christmas. On Epiphany we celebrate the visit of the Magi (aka the Wise Men) to the Christ child. It’s a familiar story about foreign visitors from the East who follow a star in search of the baby who is born King of the Jews. It’s about God’s revelation to the gentiles. There is dangerous political intrigue and a fearful king Herod who seeks to kill the baby Jesus.
Could be a modern day drama!
I would love to see you on Sunday, as we unpack the scripture and see what lessons we can learn from these long ago travelers.

Blessings,

Let's start filling in the dates for 2019!
We will kick of the new year by exploring a sermon series “Questions of Faith”. Asking questions is an important part of our faith, through asking questions and faithfully looking for answers we can continue to grow in faith and understand more what we believe. We want to know what questions you have about faith, God and life so we can incorporate these into the sermon series.  Please take a moment, think about your questions you have about your faith, general and specific.  Please email your questions to the following email at  [email protected]   or if you would prefer to be anonymous you can write them down on the insert in the bulletin or any piece of paper and put them in the “Questions of Faith” box on the table in the back of the sanctuary. There is also the option of doing this online using Google Forms at this link:  https://goo.gl/forms/l8jwIhrQgmlZDxcD3 . You can begin submitting questions at any time.
