As We Prepare For The
The Fourth Sunday After Epiphany
May our ministries bring the new life that you
intend for all people. We ask this in the name of Christ our Lord. Amen
There are times in our lives when it’s easy to feel that God is absent. We’re going through a tough situation and it feels like God has abandoned us. Or we pray for something important, and our prayer isn’t answered. Is God really listening? What did I do wrong? We want to know where we stand and what we can expect.
Join us this Sunday as we continue with our  Questions of Faith  sermon series The sermon this week is  God, Are You There?
I know life is busy! And there is a Super Bowl game! But if you’re in town and everyone in your family is well, I hope you’ll take an hour to come and worship. We miss you when you’re gone.
Be well and be blessed,

What a bummer we had to miss out on having our youth ministries this week due to the cold weather, hopefully we won't have to miss any more Wednesday evenings.

The Dynamite Disciples will sing and play bells again on Sunday, February 24th during worship, so save that date; we would love to have all the kids and families at worship, that can make it!

-Youth should not be arriving before 5:00pm on Wednesday evenings.
-Parents please pick-up your kid(s) at 6:30 pm. The kids are in music from 6:15-6:30pm and will be dismissed after that portion of their evening with us .

Parents, Grandparents, Congregation Members, etc.
There are still some openings to help out with Wednesday evenings, no teaching necessary just be an extra set of hands to "shepherd" the kids to & from and during rotation ativities. An evening spent with these youth is a great time spent!

The Dynamite Disciples are currently working with The Fruits of the Spirit theme, we are exploring how this plays into their lives today in areas such as bullying, how we should react to negative behaviors, having patience to wait turns to do something, having self-control in activities, etc. The Fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. We are talking about how we can use these positives to treat other the way we all want to be treated and how maybe we can adjust how we react to situations.
In the Bible Study rotation, the kids are going over Luke 19:1-10, and reading about Zacchaeus and how Jesus showed us how to stand up against bullying and how to fight against it they are also reviewing the Lord's Prayer. In the Craft/Activity rotation, the kids are making mini fruit pizzas and talking about the good and bad fruits of the spirt. They are also discussing times that they showed good use of the fruits of the spirt and maybe times that they need to give more thought to things when they exhibit bad fruits of the spirit. In the Games and Drama rotations the kids are interacting with each other all while building on this roation's theme.

Memory Verse for this roation is:  “ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Mark 12:31
