Presented by the Red Bank Theatre for Young Audiences, this comedic and touching show follows Charlie Brown, Lucy, Snoopy and others as they celebrate Halloween, while Linus forgoes celebrations to wait in a pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin.

The stellar cast and crew features teens from a variety of schools in Monmouth County and our youth group, and is directed by Melissa Moore Reimertz. The audience is invited to wear Halloween costumes and will also have a chance to meet the characters after the play.

All ages are welcome! Show times are Friday, 11/1 at 8pm and Saturday, 11/2 at 1pm and 4pm at 247 Broad Street, Red Bank, NJ. Tickets are a give-what-you-can donation and seats are first-come first-seated. Doors open thirty minutes before show times.

All Saints Day- 11/3

This Sunday is All Saints Sunday which is an annual observance when we remember and honor those in our congregation who have passed away over the course of the last year. We will be reading the names of the members who have passed since last November 1st. If you would like to have a loved one's name read aloud and included in the bulletin for that day, please email office@umcredbank.org and we will be sure to include them on our list.

*Please have all names sent to the office by morning of Friday, 11/1*

We will be incorporating elements of last year's special Service of Remembrance into our normal worship time on 11/3, so we anticipate that it will be an even more special and meaningful service.

Intro to the Revised UMC Social Principles- 11/3

You’ve heard Pastor Cam speak about them from the pulpit, now it’s time to dive into the details. Starting from both a Biblical and a Wesleyan foundation our church is calling us to social action. On topic after topic the revised Social Principles urge and advocate many specific policies, practices, and systems while rejecting and opposing many others. Starting this Sunday at 11:45 in Room 114, we will start digging in. This will be the first of 5 group discussion sessions extending into 2025. Together we will discover what the UMC has chosen to advocate about living out the will of God in our modern society.

UWF Silent Basket Auction- 11/3

The United Women of Faith will be having their Fall Fundraiser on 11/3 and 11/10 in our Fellowship Hall after church. We have prepared many baskets for all of you

to bid on. The winners will be announced on 11/10/24. We'd appreciate if you would support our fundraiser as any funds raised go to our mission commitments.

Stewardship 2025- Consecration Sunday is 11/10

During worship on November 10th, we will have a time in which we consecrate the pledges of this year’s stewardship drive and invite God’s guiding presence to be with us as we prepare for 2025.  Please be sure to return any pledge cards on November 10th or before!  Thank you, as always, for the myriad ways you make UMCRB a special place.

Gift from the Hankins Family-

When Rev. Charles Hankins tenure at UMCRB came to a close in 1993, the congregation presented him with a beautiful watercolor painting of the church building. It has lived in the Hankins household ever since. After his passing, his family has gifted the picture back to the congregation in his honor. You will see in the photos above, Rev. Hankins receiving the picture, and his son, Phil, gifting it back to Rev. Overbey this week. His family reiterates the positive impact that this congregation has had in their lives over the years.
