Next Membership Class-10/6

Have you recently become a church member or are thinking about membership at UMCRB? Please let Pastor Cam know to receive a new members guide book and to be added to the class! Pastor Cam will be hosting new member fellowship and information service after service in the lounge on 10/6, 10/13, and 11/10. These sessions will offer opportunities to get to know one another more and provide space for questions and discussion about what it means to join The United Methodist Church and UMC Red Bank in particular!

We need your trunk!

Please register to host a decorated trunk for this year's outreach event - Trunk or Treat - on October 27. Set up starts at noon and guests will be with us from 1-2:30. All you need to do is decorate your trunk and be prepare to hand out candy or prizes (nut free). This is a big attraction for the community and we'd love all hands on deck. If you are not into decorating, we need VOLUNTEERS to help set up and clean up, too. Register for both on the church website.

UWF Craft Group- 10/8

Craft Group will meet on Tuesday, October 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Library Lounge area. Come for all or as much time as you have available. We will be coloring Halloween and Thanksgiving designs and will even begin working on Christmas designs.

Halloween and Fall themed cards are featured at the Card Table in Fellowship Hall on Sunday mornings. Your purchases (at $1.00 each) will help UWF make their budgeted mission donations.

Mildred Ruth Circle-10/10

Mildred-Ruth will meet on Thursday, October 10 at 11 a.m. in the Library Lounge area. We will be putting together our three baskets for the UWF Silent Auction. If any Mildred-Ruth members will not be able to attend, please make arrangements to bring your presents in earlier as we plan to wrap our baskets on October 10. We will end the meeting with some time for devotions or other items you may have to share!

UMCOR Update:

Hurricane Helene has devastated parts of the southeastern U.S., bringing catastrophic wind, rain and flash flooding to many states and communities.

In response, UMCOR is coordinating with affected annual conferences and supporting their local relief efforts. UMCOR has awarded solidarity grants to the North and South Georgia annual conferences with multiple grants in process for other annual conferences.

Additionally, UMCOR-trained Early Response Teams (ERTs) are coordinating efforts to support the removal of debris, tarping of roofs, and cleaning out of homes in hard-hit areas.

Use the link below to donate directly to the recovery efforts.
