Church Office Closed 1/15

The church office will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, however, the building will be open for our Monday community group meeting and BPC Food Pantry. If you need assistance, please email office@umcredbank.org.

Book Collection-

The Mission and Service Committee will be collecting books for grades K- 12^th in the month of January. We will share these books with the Monday night BPC Pantry families and Bridge of Books. 

You can leave any books you bring to church under the pews in fellowship hall marked M/S.

UWF Book Club-1/25

Book Club is meeting on Thursday, January 25 at 1:00 pm in the lounge. The January selection is "Hello Beautiful" by Ann Politano. All are welcome to attend.

Welcome to the UMC Red Bank Team, Michael!

We had a great start to 2024 when we welcomed Michael Walradt as our permanent church sexton in January. We are happy to have him join our team here at UMC Red Bank!

In Search of a New Home!

Stewardship 2024:

Campaign Ends 1/21!

We are wrapping up the 2024 Stewardship Campaign so, don’t forget to turn in an estimate of giving card for this upcoming year by January 21!  Pledges and estimates are important in enabling us to financially plan for the upcoming year. If you need to amend or change your estimate at any time, that is totally okay. Pledges are an estimate, not a binding contract. We appreciate your support and your partnership.  Update: We are 65% of the way to our annual goal! Let's keep it going!

From Mission & Service

Thank you to all who participated this season in Advent Options. We were able to send donations in the amounts of $2,500 to the Women's Heartwarming Center, $2,500 to Waves of Education and $1,500 to the CWS Blanket Fund. Your generosity was a gift this holiday season!

Solar Update-December

For the month of December, UMC Red Bank avoided a total of 2,904 pounds of CO2. The total emissions avoided since system start up is 525 metric tonnes.

Be a Part of Our Door Greeter Team!

We are still in need of volunteers for our team of door greeters for the community group meetings. If you are available on for a support group meeting on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:45-1:15 and Wednesdays from 12:45-2:30; or for the women's sewing group class on Saturdays from 7:45-10:00 am, please contact Amanda in the office with your availability or sign up at www.signupgenius.com/go/9040F45ABAF2FA0FE3-community. We appreciate the constant generosity of our congregation here and send our heartfelt thanks to all who lend their time to help us serve the community.

Kitchen Help Wednesday Nights at Youth Group-

Are you curious to see what dinner with the youth groups is like? Do you like helping out in the kitchen? I am looking for some volunteers to help with set up and clean up for youth group dinners on Wednesdays from 6-7pm. Bonus perk - you get to eat dinner with the youth!! BPC Food Pantry- Donations Welcome

The Backpack Crew has continued to serve the increasing number of people who are impacted by food insecurity in the midst of this health crisis. Food donations are greatly appreciated on the back porch of the church, Monday though Friday from 9 am to 3 pm.

The current donation request is *HUNT'S* Tomato Sauce.
