Capital Campaign 2023-
Sign Up For a Cottage Meeting
During this phase of the Capital Campaign, everyone is invited to sign up and attend a "cottage meeting!" These gatherings are an opportunity to gather in small groups to view a presentation with more details regarding the upcoming projects, receive literature about the campaign, and learn more about how to support and contribute to the effort! Not the least of all, they are opportunities for small group fellowship! To accommodate varying schedules, many sessions have been scheduled over the next month. Here are the available dates:
Cottage Meeting Schedule:
May 21 at 11:30 am - Church Lounge
May 22 at 7 pm - Church Lounge
May 23 at 7 pm - George & Janie Schildge
May 24 at 7 pm - Andy & Karen Judkis
May 30 at 7 pm - Mark & Kathy Hackler
June 6 at 7 pm - Janet Early & Bob Shindel
Sign up by visiting the table during fellowship time or by reaching out to Amanda in the church office! Thank you for your support and partnership!
Our Family Nights Committee is looking to host a BlueClaws baseball game picnic this summer, but we need your help! Please let us know if you would be INTERESTED in attending this fun and exciting outing. We need a minimum number of attendees to book this event, so be sure to let us know if you'd be interested. For more information, click the image or visit umcredbank.org/baseball

Church Grounds Gardening & Clean Up Day- This Saturday!
Mark your calendars for our next Clean out and Gardening Day on May 20 from 9:00 - 10:00 am. This is a rain or shine event as we have indoor and outdoor things to do again!
We will be gardening outside, pulling weeds etc. and we want to move a few more things out of the Eisner basement. This will be a short day scheduled for one hour only, so please be on time, if possible. Additionally, Sean Foreback will be running his Eagle Scout project on the Playground so there will be a lot happening around the church that day. Please bring gloves and gardening tools. Hope you can join us for another epic day!
UWF Craft Group- 5/23
Craft Group will meet on Tuesday, May 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Library Lounge area. Please come for all or whatever part you can attend. We will be working on Father's Day cards, Graduation cards, and other Spring/Summer designs. Besides coloring prepared designs, you can create your own unique cards using materials we have available. We may also use the Sizzix machine or do some watercolor backgrounds for cards. If you like to knit or crochet or do another craft, bring your handiwork to Craft Group meetings and join us for fellowship as we craft together. Contact Peggy Wien if you have any questions.
UWF Book Club Meeting- 5/25
Book Club will meet on Thursday, May 25 at 1 p.m. in the Lounge. Our May book is the popular "Lessons in Chemistry" by Bonnie Garmus. Many of you may have read this book, and we invite you to come to be part of this discussion!
We will meet on June 22 to discuss "The Stolen Book of Evelyn Aubrey" by Serena Burdick. At our May meeting, we will decide on a book to read over the summer and discuss at our September meeting.
Saturday Volunteers Needed-
A community group has asked to use our building on Saturday mornings. They are teaching sewing to women who are immigrants. They have a teacher and sewing machines. Pre-Covid this group used another church but that church can’t host them now. The trustees have approved given there is a person from the congregation on premise. We are looking for volunteers for Saturdays 7:45 – 10. The white door would be open at 7:45 but lock at 8:45. The volunteer would be by the door to welcome them until door locks but then the volunteer can move around doing other on-premise tasks.  The group would be in B2/B3. The goal is to have enough volunteers so that volunteers are only asked once every 8 weeks or so. Please contact Barbara (bkroguski@gmail.com) to get on the list of volunteers or if you have questions.
RB Theater for the Young Presents "Alice in Wonderland" - 6/3
We invite you to see our next full production, Alice in Wonderland, on June 3rd at either 1 or 4pm. You can reserve seats at the link below. Tickets are free but donations are appreciated.
Pride in the Park- 6/10
We invite you to join our Church and Society team at Riverside Gardens Park on Saturday, June 10th from 1-5 as we celebrate and support Pride in the Park in Red Bank. If you're interested in helping set up around noon, cleaning up around 5, or representing our church anytime in between, please call Kathy Hackler at 732-670-4706 or email khackler@oceanschools.org. The more the merrier and we'd love to have you there with us.
GNJ Annual Conference- May 21-23
