" A Sign Of Abundance"
Pastor Anna Lee Mulford

John 2: 1-11

The Wedding at Cana

On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.
Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
When the wine gave out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.”
And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what concern is that to you and to me?
My hour has not yet come.”
His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
Now standing there were six stone water jars for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons.
Jesus said to them, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.
He said to them, “Now draw some out, and take it to the chief steward.”
So they took it.
When the steward tasted the water that had become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew),
the steward called the bridegroom
10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and then the inferior wine after the guests have become drunk. But you have kept the good wine until now.”
11 Jesus did this, the first of his signs, in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him

Oh God, it’s been too long
trying to overcome this pandemic & all the challenges with it.
People tell us our daily normal life is now a “new normal”.

That is where our Stephen Ministers can help.
You could call them the “after people”.
After this past 18 months we need someone to listen to us
& be compassionate, our lives have changed, so many emotions.

A Stephen Minister is there for you:

  • After-the phone call you hoped you would never get
  • After-the funeral,when everyone leaves & the emotions
you held in come rushing in on you.
  • After-the divorce papers are served & the bottom falls out
of your life.

The list goes on, with someone walking with you there is hope.

If you would like a Stephen Minister, please call

Susan Ruwhui #818-665- 8033
or Dianne Clouter #805-990-8762

or the church office.

Blessings,
Stephen Ministry Leadership

    Stephen Ministry has prayer time
after church service.

There will be a Stephen minister in the bride's room after church service for prayer. This will be a place for private prayer.
