New! UME MG Continuing Education Opportunity

We are excited to offer our first continuing education class of 2019! Due to time sensitivity we want to distribute the class information ASAP, but there will be more classes to come. Join us for a hands-on experience with Blue Water Baltimore's Herring Run Nursery Manager, Rob Jenkins, to learn more about caring for and purchasing plants. Space is limited to 20 participants. UME MG Volunteer Survey Results

Thank you for taking the time to complete our program survey that was distributed in February. We received a lot of helpful and thoughtful feedback. The results have been compiled and we are excited to share the summary report with you! Your feedback, balanced with the resources available at the state office, will help us develop goals and priorities for the program. We will communicate those goals with you as they are more fully identified. In the mean time, we are thrilled to offer several continuing education opportunities for 2019. Our first continuing education class is mentioned above and is now open for registration. Details about additional continuing education opportunities will be distributed as soon as event details are confirmed. Thank you for your continued support of the program!

Ask an Expert Answers Did you know HGIC answers more than 6,000 questions annually from Maryland residents via our online  Ask an Expert  service? Did you know that UME Master Gardeners can submit questions and photos on behalf of their clients? Did you know that you can view Ask an Expert  responses online? A number of UME Master Gardener volunteers have indicated that they would like to receive copies of the Ask an Expert  responses in order to learn more about the topics. Unfortunately, HGIC can not share responses to multiple email addresses due to software limitations or forward conversations that have been marked as private. That being said, public Ask an Expert responses are available online at Ask an Expert Answers .
