All of our events and activities focuses on increasing awareness about special observances and cultivating an inclusive environment within the UMGC community. Our Mission:
Our mission is to promote UMGC’s commitment to foster diverse and inclusive working and learning environments by providing the UMGC community opportunities to receive diversity education within the workplace.
Your Council:
The Diversity Council consists of UMGC staff and faculty from various regions whose mission is to foster inclusion via community engagement within our internal and external communities. Each council member represent various departments who provide insight for better ways to enhance the workplace experience.
The council also serves as collaborative partners of the Overseas Diversity & Equity office in conjunction with the UMGC Asia Director’s Priorities: Frontline Focused & Respect and Kindness.
