Most Recent Research Award Recipients
Lance Fiondella, Electrical & Computer Engineering, received NSF CAREER award in the amount of $452,454 for  Software Reliability and Security Risk Assessment: Modeling and Algorithms project.

John Buck, Electrical & Computer Engineering, received an ONR award in collaboration with Boston University in the amount of $499,952 for Active Sensing in Echo-locating Marine Mammals project.

Arghavan Louhghalam, Civil & Environmental Engineering, was selected to receive the OTCV Technology Development Fund 2018 award in the amount of $25,000. 
Updates from SPA

Kimberly Romero, work-study, joined the SPA team this semester to assist administrative staff in the office. Duties include data entry, Current & Pending support, filing, copying, shredding, scanning, mail distribution, answering phones, and other general office duties as assigned.

  • ORCID iD is a digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and, through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities.
  • The Grant Application Writer's Workbooks for applications to NIH & NSF are available to use at SPA.
  • Federal Statistical Research Data Center (FSRDC) SPA would be happy to host TEA Time discussion & invite to our campus the experts to present an informational session, providing examples of research projects that have been done in the RDCs and answer questions from interested faculty.  Please e-mail eglatman@umassd.edu if you are interested.
