Message From the Chair
Thanks to everyone who attended the annual faculty retreat, themed "Staying Focused on Access, Equity, and Justice." Not only were we able to address high priority topics, including evaluating learners, addressing bias in the workplace, integrating scholarship, self-care, values congruence, and obstetric ultrasound, we continued celebrating our 50th Anniversary and recognized the incredible contributions of Jean Roy and
Heather-Lyn Haley.
The morning of the retreat, eight new faculty came together to grow more in their own scholarly pursuits and to learn more about the working of the department.
An important session was the new faculty Annual Performance Review session. Before starting the process of completing your annual review, we highly recommend reviewing the attached slides introducing Interfolio and spending about 30 minutes reviewing the job aids and videos for both faculty and supervisors linked on the Office of Faculty Affairs Website. For dual-employed faculty, your link to access Interfolio will release in the next couple of weeks. There are more links below.
