UNCF’s mission is to assist historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) and help minority students get to and through college. In our 78th year, UNCF remains the second largest supporter of minority students – providing nearly $80M annually in scholarships. These scholarships and UNCF programs help to put a college education within reach for students from low- and moderate-income families and increase their chances of graduating.
