The Transfer Ambassadors and Transfer Students at the North Texas Fair & Rodeo

We're still riding high on the excitement from our first Transfer Community event at the North Texas Fair & Rodeo last Friday!

But wait, the fun doesn't stop here! Get ready for two months of exciting gatherings because we've got more Transfer Community events planned every Friday and Saturday throughout September and October! Whether you're into exploring downtown Denton, delicious foods, or just connecting with fellow transfer students, there's something for everyone!

Join us for the upcoming Transfer Communities events and continue to make incredible memories with your UNT peers. Don't miss out on this chance to be part of our Transfer Community. Let's keep the excitement rolling!

Upcoming Events

Downtown Denton's First Friday

When: Friday, September 1, 2023 from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Where: Van Pick Up- In front of the indoor entrance of UNT Barnes & Noble Bookstore (first floor, UNT Union)

First Friday is September 1! Join us for a variety of arts, culture, shopping, and more in downtown Denton!

The Transfer Center will provide transportation from UNT to the event location. You are more than welcome to invite others to attend the event, but this service will be reserved for our transfer students only. Transportation will be provided to and from the event during set times.

The van will arrive at 6 p.m. for pick up. Please be sure you are at the pick-up location before 6 p.m. The van will arrive at First Friday at 9:00 p.m. to return to the University Union.

Eagle Connections Vision Board Party

When: Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Where: Union 339

Get ready to unleash your creativity and craft a brighter future at our upcoming Eagle Connections Vision Board Party! 🌟 Join us for an exciting time of envisioning your goals, connecting with fellow transfers, and setting your sights on success.

What's a vision board, you ask? It's a powerful visual representation of your dreams and aspirations. Our mentors will be right by your side, guiding you every step of the way. Having a mentor is like having a personal cheerleader and navigator on your journey to college triumphs.

Don't miss out on this chance to set your intentions, connect with supportive peers, and get matched with a mentor who's got your back.

Eagle Connection Mentors is a mentoring program designed specifically for transfer students to help in your transition to your new home at UNT. You will be paired with a Transfer Ambassador who also transferred to UNT. They will serve as your guide and resource at UNT.
