Western Texas College

Why did you choose UNT?

I was looking for a welcoming space and UNT gave me the sense of belonging that I was missing.

How did the Transfer Center help you?

The Transfer Center helped me to connect with more transfer students. I met my best friends at a Transfer Center event! It has definitely made my college experience 100% better.

What is your favorite part of UNT?

I love all of the resources for students and the opportunities to connect with your own interests and make friends!

What was the hardest part of being a transfer student?

It can be hard to meet people. Change is always scary and as a transfer student, the transition is huge.

What advice do you have for transfer students?

Take time for yourself! Get out there because all the great things are out of your comfort zone. Believe in yourself!

What's your favorite part of Denton?

I love Denton Square!

Where do you do in your free time?

I like to hang out with my friends and also take time to meditate and relax.

Fun Fact:

I always wake up and ask everyone the first song in their head.
