The semester is in full swing, and we are excited to see transfer students getting involved! This week's newsletter highlights several Transfer Center events coming up as well as resources to start your semester off right.

Transfer Center Open House

When: Wednesday, August 20, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Where: Union 377

Visit the Transfer Center in the Orientation and Transition Programs office, located in Union Suite 377, to meet this semester's Transfer Ambassadors and grab a back-to-school goodie bag!



Don’t forget to bring a T-shirt from your previous college to trade for a brand-new UNT shirt!

Grab & Go

When: Wednesday, August 20, 2025

Time: 8:30 - 10:00 AM

Where: Union Circle

Grab a quick on the go breakfast snack on your way into class while learning about upcoming Transfer Center events and the Eagle Engagement Center!

Transfer Tuesdays in Union 341

The Transfer Center is hanging out every Tuesday in Union 341 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM starting Tuesday, August 26, 2025.



Join us for free coffee in the morning, games, a space to study in, and opportunities to meet other transfer students!

Transfer Communities are an opportunity to get involved on campus and get to know your fellow transfer students! Read about them below and sign up! Spots are limited and first come, first serve.

Destination Denton!

Join Destination Denton as we explore local gems! Travel to events is provided.

The Transfer Ambassadors are experienced campus leaders who are here to help you get involved and navigate your experience here at UNT! These students are available to meet with you through Eagle Connections Mentoring and Transfer Center events.

• August 29 - Last Day to Drop a Class Section Without a W
• September 26 - Last day to change to pass/no pass grade option
