The Transfer Center is excited to welcome new and returning transfer students to campus on Monday! This week's newsletter highlights several ways to get involved with the Transfer Center as well as resources to start your semester off right.

First Day of Classes Photos!

When: Monday, August 18, 2025 & Tuesday, August 19, 2025

Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Where: University Library Mall

Come take a first day of school photo to commemorate your first day at UNT and your new journey in college!

Transfer Center Open House

When: Wednesday, August 20, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Where: Union 377

Visit the Transfer Center in the Orientation and Transition Programs office, located in Union Suite 377, to meet this semester's Transfer Ambassadors and grab a back-to-school goodie bag!



Don’t forget to bring a T-shirt from your previous college to trade for a brand-new UNT shirt!

Transfer Communities are an opportunity to get involved on campus and get to know your fellow transfer students! Read about them below and sign up! Spots are limited and first come, first serve.

Transfer Tuesdays in Union 341

The Transfer Center is hanging out every Tuesday in Union 341 from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM starting Tuesday, August 26, 2025.



Join us for free coffee in the morning, games, a space to study in, and opportunities to meet other transfer students!

The Transfer Ambassadors are experienced campus leaders who are here to help you get involved and navigate your experience here at UNT! These students are available to meet with you through Eagle Connections Mentoring and Transfer Center events.

• August 22 - Last Day to Add a Class or Swap Section
• August 29 - Last Day to Drop a Class Section Without a W
• September 26 - Last day to change to pass/no pass grade option
