Al Krummenacher
to Preach April 22
We welcome to the pulpit this Sunday the Reverend Dr. Alan Krummenacher.
Al was born and raised in Missouri just north of St. Louis. He married his college sweetheart, Stacy Ikard, and together they went off to seminary in Princeton, NJ. Al later earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Seminary in Chicago, Il. For over 30 years, Al and his wife have raised three children and pastored churches in Missouri, North Carolina and Texas. Al now serves as the Director of Development at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
Refugee Welcome
Team UPdate
The UPC Refugee Welcome Team wants to thank UPC members for their generous response to our donation sign up on April 8 and 15. We have collected nearly all the items needed for our family's apartment.

The Welcome Team will be setting up the apartment on April 28 and the family arrives May 4!
REMINDER: To those who signed up to bring an item for the refugee family, please try to deliver it to UPC office by Sunday, April 22. If you will be dropping by church during the week of April 22, you can also deliver it then.
DONATIONS: We are still seeking donations of new or gently used spring/summer school clothes for the children – girls ages 16, 10 and 8 and boy age 13 (probably slender and small stature).
Thank You, UPC Youth!
The UPC Youth Group had their spring lock in this past weekend. In addition to games, fellowship, and food, they tackled a much needed paint job in one of the window wells in the central courtyard. The end result is, as one staffer said, "Just like the opening of 'The Simpsons!'" Great job, thanks!
