Worship 11:00 a.m.

"While He Was Blessing Them"
Krystal Leedy preaching

Sermon text:  Luke 24:44-53
Sunday School for all 9:30 a.m.

The Chancel Choir, in observance of Memorial Day, sings a prayer for freedom by John Rutter, “Distant Land”.
A series of get-to-know-you conversations with Pastor Matt has been organized over the course of the summer, chances for all of you to spend some time hearing from Matt and sharing with him a bit about yourselves and about the life of the church. Some of the chats will be hosted at the church mid-week, and some in church member’s homes around Austin.
The response to "Getting to Know You" has been outstanding! Although many spaces are filled, additional times have been added.

If you’re interested in having some time to chat and reflect, and to break bread with other members of your church family, please sign up for one of these conversations. Each one has a limited number of slots; if we run out of space, we’ll start scheduling more, into the fall. We want to make sure that everybody who wants to come has a chance!

How to Raise an Adult by Julie Lythcott-Haims. Stephanie states “so much of the book resonated with me -- how I feel as a parent and what I've observed teaching freshmen at UT The best part of the book is that it has specific lists of things we can be doing (and scripts of conversations we can have) to help our kids grow into themselves and become resilient, passionate, happy, healthy adults.  I'll share my takeaways and look forward to hearing your thoughts!”
