Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Psalm 35:1-4
Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

Praying for America - Refreshing our Godly Roots through His GIFT of Repentance!

Why September 6?
On September 6, 1774 those gathering in Philadelphia at Carpenter's Hall for the First Continental Congress learned that the day before, Great Britain's huge navy had blocked the entire port of Boston, and British troops had unleashed a tremendous cannonade. It was rumored that Boston had been destroyed in the bombardment. The despotic King George seemed to have been successful in punishing and killing his own colonists.
Spiritual patriots like Patrick Henry, George Washington and John Adams then used their best weapon against the anti-Liberty spirit: they resolved that a local pastor be hired to conduct a prayer service. The next morning the Reverend Mr. Duche prayed openly with the Congress to the living God: " Be Thou present O God of Wisdom and direct the counsel of this Honorable Assembly; enable them to settle all things on the best and surest foundations; that the scene of blood may be speedily closed; that Order, Harmony and Peace may be effectually restored, and that Truth and Justice, Religion and Piety may prevail and flourish among the people. Preserve the heatlth of their bodies, and the vigor of their minds, shower down on them, and the millions they here represent, such temporal Blessings as Thou seest expedient for them in this world, and crown them with everlasting Glory in the world to come. All this we ask in the name and through the merits of Jesus Christ, Thy Son and our Saviour, Amen."
Washington, Randolph, Henry, Rutledge, Lee, Jay and the Puritan patriots from Boston (who at that moment believed their homes were being attacked by the British), all fell on their knees in prayer. The Rev. Mr. Duche then quoted the reading for the day, Psalm 35. The first four verses state: " Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me, fight against them that fight against me. Take hold of shield and buckler, and rise up for my help. Draw also the spear and the battle-axe to meet those who pursue me; Say to my soul, ' I am your salvation.' Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life; Let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me.'
The last two verses of Psalm 35 say: "Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favor my righteous cause; And let them say continually, ' Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant." Andy my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long."
John Adams later wrote to his wife Abigail about this profound time of prayer upon all of the Congressmen in the First Continental Congress: " I never saw a greater effect upon an audience. It seems as if heaven had ordained that Psalm to read on that morning. After this, Mr. Duche, unexpectedly to everybody, struck out into an extemporary prayer, which filled the bosom of every man present. I must confess, I never heard a better prayer, or one so well pronounced...It has had an excellent effect upon everybody here. I must beg you to read that Psalm."
Praying in the Name Above All Names opened the windows of Heaven for His help. Their Godly roots were refreshed!
Calling upon the Living God in Jesus' name, they began the process of bringing down the stronghold they faced. Though the battle was far from over, and much blood would still be spilled, spiritual victory was assured. Our first members of Congress had followed the advice of the Holy Spirit speaking through James 4:7: " Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
That is still Wisdom 251 years later !
Today we're not yet invaded on our land by a powerful nation as in 1774, but we are in a deeper spiritual battle against an even more powerful enemy: humanism and the anti-Christ mindset, destroying our Godly roots. This began in the Body of Christ generations ago. This false mindset particularly affects many of this nation's youth who do not know Jesus Christ.
251 years later on September 6, 2025 we will encourage another Day of "opening the windows of heaven."

It's time to refresh our Godly roots, using His Solution in His Word. In one's prayer closet or in an actual repentance service, or via Zoom, it is time for a Global Day of Repentance, a time of sincere repentance for all nations, but specifically focusing on the USA :
---for the violence that is taking place in our nation
--- for the sharp, growing division among many of our citizens
---for a lukewarm church as opposed to preaching repentance to youth,
---for killing of innocents
---for idolatry, including legalization of sexual perversions
---for failing to stand fully with Israel
IT IS TIME !
At the grassroots let everyone in America, Kneel and Repent on

"Don’t be misled: No one makes a fool of God. What a person plants, he will harvest. The person who plants selfishness, ignoring the needs of others—ignoring God!—harvests a crop of weeds. All he’ll have to show for his life is weeds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith."
NEW PROGRAM!! There is now a new program to support Susan, our amazing volunteer in South Africa. Out of our NDR database of 4,000 in 49 nations, we are seeking 50 saints who will commit to
1) pray regularly for Susan and her husband Deon, and
2) donate to NDR through Cornerstone or by mail, thirty dollars per month towards her work for NDR.
With the equivalent of $1,500 per month Susan can continue to volunteer dozens-- dozens---up to one hundred--- hours per month towards NDR's expanding reach in many nations.
Five have already made the commitment. We need 45 more saints to help. Would you please pray to the LORD to see if you're called to be a member on this unique team?

The single goal of National Day of Repentance is to encourage God's GIFT of repentance, personally and nationally. Please continue to sow into this mighty move of God - and do not get weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not... (Gal 6:6-9).
