SPECIAL ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY ANNOUNCEMENT

NEVADA ELECTRICAL QUALIFICATIONS CARD PROGRAM

ONLINE / IN-PERSON ELECTRICAL EXAM TESTING
BASED ON 2017 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE
ICC has announced that the ICC PRONTO online testing system now offers exams for the G16 Master and G17 Journeyman Electrician Exams. If you choose the online testing option for the Master or Journeyman exam, please review the details carefully and make sure you are choosing the G series exams (based on the 2017 NEC) and not the F series exams (based on the 2014 NEC). Testing for the G18 Residential Electrician exam is currently not offered online and is only available through Pearson Vue testing sites.

Nevada adopted the 2017 NEC in February of 2019. ESP cannot accept testing on the 2014 NEC as the basis of issuing Master or Journeyman ID cards.
As a reminder, only CEUs issued by specific organizations and dated within the individual's current card renewal period will be accepted for card renewal purposes. For more information on the organizations that are acceptable for CEUs and other program information, please see the updated CEU requirement document on the ESP website.
For New Applicants:

Pearson Vue exam testing centers are now open in a minimal capacity for in-person testing. Exam purchasing and scheduling still needs to be arranged through ICC via their website or via phone:
