Subject: 2020 Coronavirus Information and Updates
Dear Fusion Families, Coaches & Staff,
The health and safety of our players and players’ families is our primary concern. In carefully considering the ongoing impact of COVID-19 and steps being taken by communities, governmental agencies and sports teams at all levels, Fusion Soccer Club has made the decision to cancel the remainder of our winter training for all Rec, FDP, competitive and TFE programs effective TODAY – Thursday, March 12, 2020. In addition, Fusion Soccer Club will be working with those teams with tournament travel coming up in the next few weeks to cancel that travel.
As you know, we only had two weeks of indoor winter training remaining before a one week shut-down for spring break. Our plan is to resume with outdoor training in April but we will communicate a final decision as to the date of commencement of outdoor training by April 5, 2020. All other training and activities before that time will be cancelled.
We appreciate your patience with this situation. We do believe this decision is best for our players and their families and is consistent with health and safety guidelines being promulgated by state and federal health care professionals.  Please note that this decision was not based upon any known positive COVID-19 test or exposure or potential exposure to COVID-19 for any of our players or players’ families.
As previously communicated, The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) is a valuable resource of the latest information.  This webpage  has important information about how coronavirus spreads, its symptoms, FAQs, global locations with COVID-19, travel advisories and more.
