Description of the Lincoln, California Titan IA Missile Site
 
For purposes of this list of goals, the entire Titan IA Missile site includes the actual 46-acre Missile site, the abandoned California Department of Forestry / Placer County Fire Station # 72; the Placer County Maintenance Yards; the Placer County’s gravel, sand, and debris storage area and the properties slated for development by Century Communities (12.9-acre Hidden Hills/Drummond property) and Ken Long (26.7-acre Crocker Knoll/Ferrari/Lanza property). As a result of their proximity to the Titan IA site, Saint Joseph Catholic Church and the Sun City Lincoln Hills properties on Snapdragon Lane and Prunella Court and should be considered in the description of the entire Titan IA Missile Site. 

PROPOSED Major Goals for the Entire Titan I Missile Site
 
  • Establish a long-term task force of SCLH residents, Lincoln and Placer County officials, representatives from the California Assembly, the US Senate, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the California State Water Resources Control Board. The group will be tasked to ensure the identification, monitoring, and remediation of all contaminants and keep the residents apprised (yearly) of the remediation progress.

  • Identification and removal of all TCE and lead contamination
 
PROPOSED Goals for lots on Snapdragon Ln and Prunella Ct
 
  • Placement of permanent groundwater and soil vapor monitoring wells on ALL residential lots between the western boundary of the contaminated groundwater plume and Snapdragon Lane and Prunella Court in Sun City Lincoln Hills (SCLH) and expand the number of wells on the Crocker knoll property.
 
PROPOSED Goals for Lincoln’s 45-acre Titan IA Missile site
 
  • Removal of ALL lead ammunition and PAHs from clay pigeons on the entire Titan IA site
 
PROPOSED Goals for Hidden Hills
 
  • Placement of additional permanent groundwater and soil vapor monitoring wells on and adjacent to the Hidden Hills property
 
PROPOSED Goals for Crocker Knoll

  • Placement of additional permanent groundwater and soil vapor monitoring wells atop and on all sides of the Crocker Knoll property

  • Removal of ALL the VOCs in the contaminated 16-acre groundwater plume and soil through which the TCE is volatilizing
 
PROPOSED Goals for Saint Joseph Catholic Church
 
  • Placement of additional permanent groundwater and soil vapor monitoring wells on the Saint Joseph Catholic Church property
