Update for Emergency Legislature Changes
WCS will continue to send updates via our website and social media platforms (links below) as additional information, legislation and clarifications are announced.

Earlier today Governor Hogan announced only those businesses designated as an essential business are allowed to remain open. The Governor included accounting services as an essential business, therefore WCS’s will remain open for business.

The safety and well-being of our people, clients, families and communities in which we live and work remain our number one priority and, therefore, we will continue to emphasize social distancing. A majority of our staff have been working and will continue to work remotely, and only a few essential staff will be in the offices and we are not allowing in-person meetings. We have the technological capabilities that allow us the ability to continue to provide professional accounting, tax and consulting services to our clients. We will continue to meet your expectations and deadlines for filing requirements as we always have.

Information and resources available are constantly changing and we know you are getting blasted by email notifications from a number of sources, so we wanted to just provide a few links to information that may help you and/or your business during this crisis. WCS is here to assist you with determining eligibility and assistance providing the required financial information requested with the various programs. We also anticipate additional federal legislation to be announced soon and we will provide information as it becomes available.

Although we understand that businesses are being deluged on a daily basis with emails about COVID-19, we are sending our clients a link to the Interpretive Guidance Memorandum to provide critical information on the scope of the closure.

As always, we thank you for your continued support and trust in us during this unprecedented time. Please be healthy and safe.
