World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Road Victims

Last month I was given an award for my participation in the World Day of Remembrance for Traffic Road Victims. The event was held back in November of 2025 to honor minors who have lost their lives. During the event empty shoes were set out by the NC Highway Patrol in Greenville. These shoes represent the lives of the victims and their friends and families.

Maynard Children's Hospital Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

I had the opportunity to participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony with Maynard Children's Hospital and ECU Health. This ribbon cutting for a dedicated helicopter for children. Thank you, Maynard Children's hospital!

Intraprofessional Panel

This month I participated in an intraprofessional panel hosted by Campbell University. This panel was focused on engaging students in advocacy and the policy making process. Thank you, Campbell University, for inviting me to speak!

Students at ECU School of Art and Design

A couple of ECU Art students came to the General Assembly to talk about their art. During this time, we were also able to talk about policy and advocating. I was also able to get some digital art for my office! Thank you, ECU Art students!

Boys and Girls Club Youth of the Year

This month I was able to attend the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain Youth of the Year event. It was honor to be able to attend this event to recognize all the youth of the year!
