Funding for Pitt County

Last week the House passed the Budget after months of negotiations.


Rep. Reeder said after the vote: "I am proud to announce that District 9 has received nearly $140 Million in funding for projects in Pitt County. I look forward to see how this funding impacts our communities in the coming years"

General Assembly Passes NC Budget


Last week, the N.C. General Assembly approved a fiscally-sound budget that prioritizes new investments in workforce development, school choice, education, salary raises for state employees and teachers, water and sewer upgrades, tax relief and much more. This includes directing more resources to support mental health, rural infrastructure, school safety, voter ID, veterans, farmland preservation and much more.
