Pitt County Schools Safety Grant

The Department of Public Instruction’s Center for Safer Schools (CFSS) recently announced $35 million in school safety grants. The funding will be used for safety equipment, training, and services for students in crisis.

Pitt County was Awarded $194,000 to safeguard our schools!

NC House Republicans Address Border Crisis

NC House Republicans held a press conference to address the US border crisis and its impact on North Carolina. This letter was signed by all Republican NC House members and was sent to Governor Cooper, urging him to stand with Texas.

Rep. Reeder said "I was proud to sign this letter, along with all NC House Republicans, urging Governor Cooper to take more significant action on behalf of our state."

N.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program Now Open

The expanded N.C. Opportunity Scholarship Program is officially open for applications! Thanks to the N.C. General Assembly, all families of K-12 students in North Carolina are now eligible to apply. Scholarships range from $3,000 to $7,000 and are based on a family’s household income. Scholarships can be used to pay tuition and fees to attend an eligible private school. I am proud to have supported the expansion of this successful program and look forward to more families having access to school choice and opportunities.
