WNCT in Eastern NC ran a segment about Rep. Reeder's bill (HB 809). They did a great job explaining why the bill was needed and how it will help protect our hospitals and healthcare workers.
Rep. Reeder joined Mark Shiver on his podcast "In the House". They discussed HB 809 and making hospitals safer and raising penalties for attacks on our first responders.
Greenville, along with Burlington, Winston-Salem, and Greensboro have signed on to create a 3-year pilot program that will employ and allow civilian personnel to investigate traffic crashes. Greenville Chief of Police Ted Sauls has been a big supporter of the program.
