UPDATE: Portion of Belview Road to Close January 12-13
UPDATE: Due to unforeseen circumstances with the gas lines, Belview Road will be closed 8 a.m. Wednesday, January, 13, 2015 to 3 p.m. Thursday, January, 14, 2015.

CORRECTION: An error was made in the dating of the road closure. Belview Road will be closed from 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 12, 2015 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2015.

LEESVILLE, La.-- The Vernon Parish Police Jury announced Tuesday, January 5, 2015 that Belview Road will be closed between Mayo Street and Berry Avenue from 8 a.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2015 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2015. 

The Police Jury will be replacing culverts if weather permits.

An alternative route is Mayo to Herring to Belview. This route comes out in front of East Leesville Elementary.

Anyone living on this road should make the necessary arrangements.
