Runners' Handbook
Saturday July 20nd, 2019
10:00 AM Race Start
Hot Weather Warning
Please be advised that the weather forecast for Saturday is calling for extremely hot temperatures. At the start of the race it could reach the mid-80s. Please consult your physician if you have any medical conditions that could be affected by the heat. Please do not run if you are not properly trained to run 3.33 miles under these conditions. Everyone should plan to take it easy and not shoot for a PR. At our water stop we will also have a Wet Towel station. This is where a volunteer will hand you a blue shop towel that's been dunked in water, and you may rub this on your neck, face, and forearms to help you cool down. At the finish line we will also have a misting tent running to help cool you off after the race.
