UPDATE: USMS guidance for sanctioning events

Greetings!

At its recent meeting, the USMS Board of Directors approved Phase 1 of a return to sanctioned in-person events starting Nov. 1. We are looking forward to a safe and fun return of USMS events!

We have now published guidance and recommendations on the COVID-19 Event Resources page. If you or your LMSC are considering hosting an event in the coming months, please review this information carefully including the following documents:

Phase 1 Return to Competition Guidelines
Safety Plan -- COVID-19 Addendum to be completed by the event director in addition to the standing sanction application
COVID-19 Attendee Screening Form to be completed by all attendees (swimmers, volunteers, officials, and facility staff) prior to the event

The COVID-19 Event Resources page will continue to be updated with information as available.
