Winter Board of Directors Meeting
February 7 - 8, 2025
Holiday Inn Greenville
203 Southwest Greenville Blvd.
Greenville, NC 27834
Phone: 252-355-8300
The NCFRW Winter Board meeting is almost here, and we're starting 2025 with a celebration of President Trump's inauguration and planning for 2025 activities. There will be time set aside for treasurers to meet and time for club presidents to discuss issues. We'll have an exciting time with interesting speakers, and we'll review plans for the NFRW Biennial Convention in Orlando in September.
All NCFRW members across the state, and their registered guests, are welcome to join us to hear the latest news, prepare for 2025, discuss upcoming events, meet old friends and connect with great women like yourselves.
We begin on Friday evening with a special speaker and dinner, and on Saturday after our morning Board of Directors meeting, we'll have our annual Dottie Martin Scholarship luncheon. Clubs are asked to donate a nice item or gift basket to raffle.

Winter Meeting Fundraiser | |
Dottie Martin Teachers Scholarship Luncheon
At the February 8th luncheon, we will hold our annual raffle to benefit the Dottie Martin Teachers Scholarship fund. The items we raffle are donated by individual members and clubs, and tickets are drawn for winners to choose among the lovely beautifully wrapped gifts.
Please consider donating a nice raffle item. Bring it with you to the morning meeting, and Dena Barnes, Chair, and her committee members will wrap your donation(s). We had such great feedback from last year's Fundraiser where your donations were wrapped or assembled into lovely gift baskets by the committee members.
In 2024 scholarships were awarded to four NC students enrolled and studying in the field of education who want to make a difference in the lives of North Carolina’s children.
As always, thank you for your generous support of this scholarship which for 34 years annually funds thousands of dollars in scholarships.
