World Day for Consecrated Life

The Archdiocese of Mobile celebrated World Day for Consecrated Life on Sunday at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. We are so grateful to all who have answered God's call to spread the love of Christ throughout the archdiocese and beyond. We also offer a special thank you to Sister Mary Chabanel Finnegan, RSM and Sister Mary Teresa Cusack, RSM as they are celebrating their 70th anniversary of entrance into their Community!

Lenten Resources

With Lent beginning on Ash Wednesday, it is important to know all of the resources available to you throughout the Archdiocese of Mobile.

So that your Lenten season is spiritually fruitful, the link below will redirect you to the archdiocesan website where you will find times for confession, Stations of the Cross, Mass, and parish fish fries.

We continue to ask for parish Stations of the Cross and fish fry schedules as well as additional confession times.

Please submit this information to The Catholic Week via our communications specialist, Claudia Sims, at [email protected].

Feb. 5 is the Feast Day of

St. Agatha!

St. Agatha, you were martyred for

your devotion to Christ and yet throughout the torture prior to your death, you never wavered. May we pray for your intercession in times of suffering and trial, that we may be shown the mercy of God. We also pray for Fr. Joseph Chacko and the parishioners of St. Agatha Parish in Bay Minette on this Feast Day.
