If you have are interested in our 3 year old or 4 year old part time preschool program, please fill out the interest form. El Sol siblings interested in preschool will be entered in the lottery group.
If you have a child that is going into TK or Kinder, please fill out the interest form. If you have already have a child at El Sol, your incoming TK/Kinder child will automatically be accepted.

Dear El Sol Families,
It is with deep sadness that we inform you about a recent loss to our school community. On January 16, 2021, Adriana Esquivel passed away. Adriana has been a member of the El Sol family for 15 years and has been a valued employee for nearly 9 years. She has provided care and nurturing to hundreds of students. She set our primary students on a course for educational excellence. Her loss will have a profound impact in our extended day program and beyond. She leaves behind a husband, a son and a daughter, along with many beloved family members, friends and colleagues. This loss is sure to raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our entire school, especially our students.

Queridas familias de la Academia El Sol,
Es con profunda tristeza que les informamos sobre una pérdida reciente en nuestra comunidad escolar. El 16 de enero de 2021 falleció Adriana Esquivel. Adriana ha sido miembro de la familia El Sol durante 15 años y ha sido una empleada valiosa durante casi 9 años. Ella ha brindado cuidado y cariño a cientos de estudiantes. Ella puso a nuestros estudiantes de primaria en un curso de excelencia educativa. Su pérdida tendrá un impacto profundo en nuestro programa de día extendido y más allá. Deja atrás a un esposo, un hijo y una hija, junto con muchos familiares, amigos y colegas queridos. Esta pérdida seguramente generará muchas emociones, preocupaciones y preguntas para toda nuestra escuela, especialmente para nuestros estudiantes.

Free Meals for El Students and their Families
- Parents can pick up Breakfast from 7:00 am to 2:30 pm.
- Lunch from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm. We cannot provide Lunches earlier because they are not available. Lunches arrive to the School at 9:30 am.
- They can opt for taking both or one at a time. Students can come at 10:35 am and ask for his/her lunch and breakfast or he/she could come at 2:25 pm and ask for both as well
- Meals will be served on the Elementary Site only.
- No food Distribution on December 24th, 25th ,31st and January 1st

If you are picking up a student lunches, we kindly ask that you wear a face covering. We appreciate your support.

We are happy to open our libraries this year and give all our students access to books. El Sol Academy will be doing a No Contact Library check out system.
Students will be able to browse our library catalog from home, place a hold, and pick up library books using Destiny, our library catalog.

The Santa Ana CARES program, which provided millions of dollars in rental assistance, business grants, free COVID-19 tests for residents and more, has ended. Other COVID-19 testing options are below, and the City of Santa Ana is still accepting applications for rental assistance and some small business grants.
