For all HOME and AWAY games
(Cross Country, Field Hockey, Soccer, Girls Tennis)
Tickets will not be required. As per Governor Murphy's Executive Order, all athletic facilities will be limited to 500 spectators. This capacity will
be adjusted if this Executive Order is modified.
Spectators must adhere to social distancing and wear masks properly
at all times.
Pope John Students are NOT allowed to attend AWAY contests only. This is an NJAC regulation. For cross country races, spectators are not allowed at the start or finish lines.
All spectators must submit the following two forms
prior to arriving to each game:
THE SYMPTOM FREE CERTIFICATION FORM MUST BE FILLED OUT
ON THE DAY THAT THE ATHLETIC EVENT TAKES PLACE.
EX: BOYS SOCCER PLAYS ON OCT. 1, YOU FILL IT OUT ON OCT. 1.
IF YOU FILL IT OUT PRIOR TO THE EVENT DATE,
YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THE EVENT.
All of this information is critical for compliance with conference and Pope John contact tracing mandates and crowd limitations. The two forms can also be found on our website under "Pope John Spectator Information" under the Athletics section.
Spectators should bring their own chairs as bleachers will not be available.
There will be no tailgating or gathering in groups by Pope John spectators on any Academy campus property including Our Lady of the Lake parking lot as well as any AWAY sporting event
Please respect our opponents guidelines at their schools. They may differ from Pope John's guidelines.
All guidelines will be strictly monitored and enforced. Opponents will notify Pope John if a spectator does not comply.
