To help keep Columbia-Greene Community College safe and stop the spread of COVID-19, SUNY has mandated virus testing for all students taking classes on campus. The College will be administering the saliva sample method, a non-invasive procedure that uses a mouth swab technique.
This week's testing will be held on Tuesday, October 27, and Wednesday, October 28, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with subsequent tests scheduled for November 9 and 10, November 23 and 24, and December 7 and 8.
Testing is required every two weeks.
1. Create an account for testing at https://register.suny-covid.com/. Complete as much of the registration as possible prior to scheduled appointment. If needed, a College representative can assist with remaining questions at the testing site. This information is for SUNY purposes only.
Taking the Test
Wear your face mask and arrive no more than five minutes before the scheduled testing time to ensure proper social distancing.
Testing will be performed in the HRBTF Student Dining Hall. Bring your C-GCC ID and mobile device, along with your SUNY account (created above), ready for access, as you will utilize this information during the testing process.
Do not eat/drink/use tobacco products 30 minutes or less prior to testing time!*
Do not use toothpaste/mouthwash three hours or less prior to testing time!*
