A New School and Season for the SRR Storm

Pleasantview Elementary School opening this fall

Originally opened in 1969, the school’s design, lack of space, and other infrastructure needs led to the district seeking voter approval on a $37.1 million bond referendum in November 2019. Over 29 facilities listening sessions, 20 community conversations, three listening session results meetings, surveys, and more helped gather community feedback every step of the way. After a 71% passage, the district entered the design phase and continued seeking community input to drive the plan’s final design.
