Staffing Update from The Superintendent
We would like to inform you of an upcoming leadership change in our Student Services office. Leslie Brow, our Director, recently accepted a position as the Executive Director of Educational Programs for the Sargent Center of Rhode Island.
This is an incredible opportunity for Leslie, and I hope you join me in wishing her all the best. Leslie has been a wonderful leader for our Special Education program in Narragansett over the past eight years, and this new position is a chance to lead her own schools and programs in conjunction with a clinical care organization. Leslie will transition to her new position in mid-October. We will begin the search for a new director immediately, and hope to have someone in place as soon as possible.
Dr. Peter Cummings, Narragansett Schools Superintendent

Visitor Sign In Reminder
All of our schools have launched a School Visitor Management System in an effort to keep security a priority with our students and staff.
This system requires anyone visiting or needing to get into the school to present a driver's license, which will be scanned at our new check-in kiosk in the front office. You will also be asked to share information such as your name, date, time of check-in, reason for visit, and where you're going. Once all of the information is entered, a screen is completed before a temporary badge is then printed out for you to wear for the duration of your visit.
If you do not have a driver's license on hand at the time of your visit, another form of photo identification will be required.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation in this as we continue to evolve our security measures to ensure the safety of you and your child in our school community. If you have any questions, please reach out to your respective school's main office.
