EMERGENCY HEARING ON SPEED CAMERAS
New York, NY - Today, August 28th, the Committee on Transportation will be holding an emergency hearing on speed cameras. After the Executive Order of Governor Cuomo, the Council will work on its own legislation to allow the continuous operation of the speed cameras that will save lives.
Who: Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez, Speaker Corey Johnson, members of the Council Committee on Transportation, Families for Safe Street, Transportation Alternatives, and advocates.

Hoy, martes 28 de agosto, el Comité de Transporte presidirá una audiencia extraordinaria sobre las cámaras de velocidad. A consecuencia de la Orden Ejecutiva firmada por el Gobernador Cuomo, el Consejo trabajará en su propia legislación para permitir el funcionamiento continuo de las cámaras de velocidad que salvarán vidas.
