Piedmont Press
Dear Parents-
This week we celebrated Fire Prevention week! Thank you so much to the Piedmont Fire Department who helped greet students each morning. The fire department came to our school on Wednesday to teach fire safety and allow the students to look at the fire truck up close, spray the fire hose and ask questions. The students had a blast!
Don't forget, Parent Teacher Conferences are Monday and Tuesday evenings from 5-8 p.m. Please contact your child's teacher if you have not been able to set up a time.

Have a great weekend!!

Wildcat Wake-Up!!
Join us each Friday morning for our Wildcat Wake-Up. Due to COVID 19 we are limiting our outside visitors, but that doesn't mean you have to miss out on the fun.

Below is the youtube channel with this week's Wake-Up. Each Friday we will post our video on the same youtube channel.

Go Wildcats!!!
Parent Teacher Conferences will be the evenings of October 12th and 13th. Your child's teacher will send a sign up genius form, followed by the zoom link for the conference. If you have any questions, please make sure to contact your child's teacher.
Thursday, October 15th is PAJAMA DAY!!!

Make sure to wear your coziest jammies!!
Just a reminder to send a water bottle with your student each day.

We do have the water refilling station and students are able to refill as needed.
Face Masks
THANK YOU for helping us make sure that your student has had a mask each and every day.

Another great way to keep germs away is to make sure to wash any washable masks throughout the school week.

If your child has more than one mask it would be great to send that one as well to use as a back up.

Fall Break is Friday, October 16th-Tuesday, October 20th.

We will see you on Wednesday, October 21st!!
Veterans Day
Our Piedmont Veterans Association would like to join us in recognizing our veterans and anyone who is currently serving.

If you are a parent who is currently serving or has served please fill out our google form so we can contact you.

Any student who has someone that has served or is currently serving is welcomed to send a picture of his/her family member so we can create a slideshow.

Please email Mrs. Ski
Email needs to include the following:
  1. Student Name/Grade
  2. Name of the veteran being recognized.
  3. How many years of service?
  4. Which branch did he/she serve?
  5. How is the student related to the veteran?

Book Character Day!!
On Friday, October 30th students can dress as their favorite book character. Please remember that all attire must be school appropriate.

Accessories to characters such as weapons or items that are distracting are not allowed.
Please remember that our school day officially starts at 8:30 a.m. Students will be welcomed each morning by teachers from 8:00-8:30 a.m.

If you arrive AFTER 8:30 a.m. then you will need to walk your child to the front door so they can be checked in.
