Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive

Thank you for your support! Because of the generosity of the families of Saint Joseph School, we donated a van full of cereal. Keep your eyes on our social media channels for a donation total.

"This cereal is so very much appreciated - every week we distribute over 100 boxes of cereal to our neighbors and while there are many foods we can get for free from the Greater Boston Food Bank, cereal is not one of them. SJS Living Nativity

The Grades 6-8 students of SJS Needham would like to invite everyone to the annual Living Nativity on December 16, 2022, at 1:30 pm in the Upper Church. This beloved tradition goes back over 25 years. This year, we are delighted to include our entire school community in the audience and are thrilled that the Grade 6 and 7 choir will be returning. The performance is the final event of the calendar year at SJS Needham and a beautiful reminder for us all of the true reason we celebrate Christmas.

2021-2022 Yearbooks For Sale

The 2021-2022 Yearbooks have arrived and have been distributed to last year's graduates. We also have them available for purchase; current Grade 6-8 students are featured. Many parents have suggested that we host a Golf Tournament. We think this is a great idea and we are seeking parents to join a committee to help in the organization, planning, and selection of a golf course and date.

There are many opportunities we need help with, please indicate your interest by clicking the link below. We are hoping to have a committee together by the first of the year to begin to plan an upcoming tournament for Fall or Spring of 2023. As always, your time and commitment are appreciated.

Santa's Workshop

Santa’s Workshop is a Christmas tradition at SJS Needham for preschool through grade 5. The Lower School gym is transformed into a winter wonderland where students join their classmates and shop for gifts for their family and close relatives and friends. Gifts range in price from $2.00 - $7.00 (most in the $2.00 - $4.00). Gifts are wrapped and brought home to place under the tree for their loved ones. More information will be sent home as we get close to the event to be held on December 13-14th.

We need volunteers for the event to help students shop, gift wrap items, and work the check out table. This is a fun (and famous) event that you will treasure; you may even get some of your Christmas shopping done!

Dear Parents/Guardians, School Staff, and Community Members:

In accordance with the 40 CFR Part 763 (enacted by Congress in 1986) of the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) and specifically Section 763.93, this letter is to acknowledge the availability of the school’s Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Management Plan in the school’s main office.

Please direct any Asbestos Management Plan questions to Ian Snyder, Head of School. Mr. Snyder works in collaboration with our Parish Facilities Committee and various licensed professionals to manage the physical plant of Saint Joseph School. They continue to work to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
