Nancy Davis
Founder and Portfolio Manager, Quadratic Capital Management
Nancy Davis founded Quadratic Capital in 2013. Ms. Davis is the portfolio manager for The Quadratic Interest Rate Volatility and Inflation Hedge ETF (NYSE Ticker: IVOL). Ms. Davis has been the recipient of numerous industry recognitions. She was named by Barron’s as one of the “100 Most Influential Women in U.S. Finance” on their inaugural list. Institutional Investor called her a “Rising Star of Hedge Funds.” The Hedge Fund Journal tapped her as one of “Tomorrow’s Titans.” She began her career at Goldman Sachs where she spent nearly ten years, the last seven with the proprietary trading group where she rose to become the Head of Credit, Derivatives and OTC Trading. Prior to starting Quadratic, she served as a portfolio manager at Highbridge Capital Management. She later served in a senior executive role at AllianceBernstein. Ms. Davis writes and speaks frequently about markets and investing. She has been published in Institutional Investor, Absolute Return and other industry journals, and has contributed articles to two books. She has been profiled by Forbes, and interviewed by Barron’s, The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, and The Financial Times among others. Ms. Davis is a frequent guest on television including CNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, Sina and ABC.
Stefanie Erner
Principal, GoldenTree Asset Management
Stefanie Erner is Principal and Senior Research Analyst at GoldenTree Asset Management and is responsible for covering investments in the Retail and Consumer sectors. Prior to joining GoldenTree, Ms. Erner was a Credit Research Analyst at AXA Investment Managers, focusing on Retail and Consumer high yield bonds. Prior to joining AXA, Ms. Erner worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch as an investment banking analyst covering the Retail and Consumer sectors. Ms. Erner received a B.A. from Northwestern University and is also a CFA charterholder.
Eleni Janis
Managing Partner & CIO, Equivico by NCRC
When Eleni co-founded Equivico at the National Community Reinvestment Coalition, she sought to build a company that, like her career, is situated at the nexus of smart investments and social justice. As an investment professional, she draws on her experience in economic development, statistics, market research and social science, to invest profitably in businesses, assets and projects that benefit households, societies and investors alike. Prior to Equivico, Eleni served as vice president at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC). During her tenure, she established its Social Capital Desk to design and execute ESG investing solutions, co-founded the department that managed New York City’s vital public-private partnerships and oversaw the administration of a portfolio of 17 incubators and accelerators. She played an instrumental role in top priority projects, including equity financing solutions for minority and women owned small businesses and startups, historic investments in the life sciences and cybersecurity industries, other impact investing and venture capital strategies, and tech talent development initiatives. Though Amazon did not ultimately build its HQ2 in New York, Eleni’s work led to the company creating thousands of jobs in the city and opening major facilities here. Prior to NYCEDC, she oversaw public opinion research at The Opportunity Agenda, a nongovernmental research organization supported by institutions, such as the Ford Foundation and Open Society Foundations. She published extensively on economic, immigration and human rights issues. Previously, she co-founded the Business and Labor Coalition of New York, an advocacy group of over 60 labor unions and enterprises committed to advancing progressive public policy. Eleni serves on the Board of Advisors of iQ4, a technology-based skills transfer platform, and the Board of Directors of the Hellenic American Leadership Council. She previously served on the Boards of the American Association of Public Opinion Research, New York University Alumni Association Board of Directors, and the Business and Labor Coalition of New York. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from New York University and a Bachelor’s in Media Studies and Communications from the National University of Athens, in her native Greece. She studied Executive Management and Finance at the Wharton Business School and is an American Express Leadership Fellow.
Jillian McIntyre
Founder & CIO, 221B Capital Partners LLC
Ms. McIntyre has worked for top tier hedge funds and global investment banks. At the start of her career, she worked in both research and investment banking for Morgan Stanley (UK) and then BAML, which brought her to the USA. Her research has consistently focused on companies in the global Technology, Media and Telecom sectors, building solid relationships with Industry leaders. During her time at BAML, she worked on multiple IPO’s and M&A transactions; she was lead analyst on several European Technology IPO’s including ASM Lithography (ASML) and ST Microelectronics (STM). She has worked with well renowned researchers such as Steve Milunovich, Angela Dean and Mary Meeker (all at Morgan Stanley). In 2005, Ms. McIntyre transitioned to work for top tier hedge funds. She was hired by Art Samberg founder of Pequot Capital Management ($7BN AUM) to run a L/S global TMT portfolio. Subsequently hired by Sir Chris Hohn, founder of the UK-based Children’s Investment Fund (T.C.I., $23BN AUM) to run the short selling research process. In 2012, Ms. McIntyre worked at White Elm Capital LLC ($1.5BN AUM), a spin-off of Lone Pine Capital, which grew AUM fivefold during her tenure. She left to launch her own long/short fund, 221B Capital LLC, in 2014 and demonstrated consistent absolute returns running net short (avg 20%) each year despite a bull market. In 2019, she launched Appian Way Asset Management with two partners and $400MM GMV, backed by Morgan Stanley AIP. Its mandate is Industrials, Cyclicals and Technology. For the past three years, Ms. McIntyre has acted as a judge for Mr. Bill Ackman on the Pershing Square Challenge. She has presented at many industry and hedge fund conferences such as; Kase Capital (Mr. Whitney Tilson), CFA society and NIRI (IR). She presented directly to the Founder of the Hedge Fund industry, a highly contrarian solar short which filed BK within six months of the pitch. Ms. McIntyre has dedicated her career to research and advisory of companies in the global Technology, Media and Telecom sectors, more recently expanding her coverage include to include renewable energy and clean tech sectors. She has built a solid network across industry leaders, academia, family officers/mutual funds/hedge funds, as well as VC and PE equity firms. Ms. McIntyre grew up in the UK. She studied Accounting and Finance at Kingston Business School, UK. A dual citizen of both the USA and the UK, Ms. McIntyre is now based in the West Village, New York City, where she is President of the local Bleecker Playground non-for-profit (FoBP). She has one son, Max, and her husband, Nestor, who studied at MIT in Boston, where they met.

CIO and Founder Lauren McMahon, launched Certa Capital, a U.S.–focused long/short equity fund, in 2017. Certa’s strategy is the culmination of Lauren’s 30-plus years of industry experience combining top-down and bottom-up analysis to invest in large, emerging, long-term secular trends. Prior to founding Certa Capital, Lauren was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Peconic Partners and its predecessor, Forstmann-Leff Associates, for 20 years. Previously, Lauren was a Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley Asset Management. She started her career at The Vanguard Group as a statistician. Lauren holds a B.A. from Villanova University.
