We are excited to share that one of our team members, Sarah Kerch, welcomed a baby girl into her family. Lucille (Lucy) Corrine Trzyna was born on Saturday, July 30th, 2016. Both Sarah and Baby Lucy are doing well. We hope you'll help us in congratulating her.

ACS Cancer Facts & Figures for African Americans 2016-2018 |
African Americans have the highest cancer incidence and mortality rates for all cancers combined of any racial or ethnic group across the United States. Between 2008 and 2012, the cancer incidence rates for non-Hispanic black males and females in Wisconsin were higher than in any other state. Over the same period, the death rates for non-Hispanic black males and females in Wisconsin were above the national averages. The American Cancer Society's most recent Cancer Facts and Figures for African Americans provides and in-depth analysis on selected cancers, risk factors, and outcomes for black Americans. This publication is intended to provide information to cancer control advocates, community leaders, public health and health care workers, and others interested in cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment in the black population. ICYMI: In Case You Missed It |
When e-cigarette products were introduced in 2007, some public health officials hoped it would prompt young cigarette users to transition to seemingly less-harmful electronic products. However,
a new study out of the University of Southern California
suggests that rather than decreasing the number of traditional tobacco users, the product has attracted an entirely new population to nicotine use. Read the Article in the New York Times
