If you've wondered how other adult education consortia govern, this research report by the Los Angeles Regional Adult Education Consortium provides good insight.

More than 20 consortia were identified for the study, which reports on tiered government structure; executive leadership groups; staffing; workgroups and task forces; marketing, websites and social media; staff development and more.


State Directive Related to WIOA Memorandums of Understanding
Check out the California Economic Development Department's directive about Memorandums of Understanding (MOU) related to the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).

The policy provides guidance and establishes the procedures related to WIOA MOUs for comprehensive, affiliate and specialized America’s Job Center of California  
(AJCC) locations. The policy applies to all Local Workforce Development Boards (Local Board) and AJCC-required partners, and is effective immediately.
