Below you will find links to the updated version of the UAC Manual of Procedures (UAC MAP), Section 2: Safe and Timely Release from ORR Care.
Major changes in this new version of the MAP include:
Updated fingerprint check procedures reflecting requirements of the Operational Directive issued December 2018
Updated CA/N check procedure reflecting changes made in December 2018
Extended expiration date for fingerprint check and CA/N check results from 120 days to 270 days
Addition of an expiration date for public record check results of 90 days
Additionally, please reference the attached Table of Revisions for a complete list of updates. Both the Table of Revisions and the new Section 2 UAC MAP will be posted in the UAC Portal shortly.
ORR has updated Section 2.5.3 of the UAC Policy Guide to reflect the changes to background check expiration dates.
Please discontinue using the previous version of the UAC MAP Section 2.
