THANK YOU to our gracious hosts and to the many supporters who attended our latest fundraising events and boosted the campaign!

Ron Kim is dedicated to Saratoga Springs

Ron's roots in Saratoga Springs are deep. His family values, experience as a leader, business owner, and lawyer in Saratoga Springs, make him the only logical choice for Mayor of Saratoga Springs.

A steady leader and experienced problem solver, Ron Kim can put the Saratoga Springs we love back on course.

-Ron is a listener.

-Ron has real experience in Saratoga Springs government having successfully served as a two-term Public Safety Commissioner.

-Ron is an experienced attorney.

-Ron is a proven leader.

-Ron will take the Covid19 pandemic seriously, take action wherever necessary, be proactive, be willing to act decisively, and act responsibly for the health and safety of our neighborhoods.

Ron has real solutions:

  • A renewed focus on truck traffic, seeking State and Federal aid, from President Biden's infrastructure program, to relieve the noise and pollution in downtown and West Side residential neighborhoods.

  • Make the new parking garage a hub for public transit, both CDTA and inter-city, shuttle service to and from Albany Airport, Saratoga Race Course, SPAC, and other transportation services that would benefit downtown businesses and residents alike.

  • Keeping public safety funded. When he was Public Safety Commissioner in 2009, Ron fought efforts by the Mayor and the Finance Commissioner, who cut the police budget over his strenuous objections.

  • Comprehensive public safety reform, helping out the police by addressing mental illness, poverty and homelessness in the city while installing a civilian review board.

  • Completing the East Side Public Safety station, a long-needed facility which Ron's opponent has opposed.

  • Fully vaccinated city workforce, setting an example and keeping everyone safe.

  • Updating and improving the processes of the Building Department, and introduction of an Applicant Bill of Rights for all persons seeking permits from the City.
