"AME FREEDOM SUMMER KICK-OFF"


Dear Members of the African Methodist Episcopal Church,


We are issuing an urgent call to every clergy person, officer, and member of the AME Church to stand with us in this critical moment. Join us this Sunday, May 3rd, at 6 pm EST for our Freedom Summer Kickoff, a connectional effort to organize, mobilize, and protect our communities. As we experience the escalating assault on and erasure of our hard-fought rights, we cannot be silent or still.

Our history has taught us that when the AME Church shows up, change becomes possible. Let us honor our legacy by responding with courage, clarity, and conviction as we begin this Freedom Summer.
