Please Urge Congress to Approve Community Health Center Funding TODAY! Dear AltaMed Employee,   Today, Members of Congress are negotiating the fate of community health centers amid COVID-19. We urge you to contact your Member of Congress NOW and ask that they provide $3.2 billion immediately to sustain health center operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Take Action During a public health emergency, health centers provide triage, treatment, referrals and work in partnership with the local health care delivery system. This emergency is no different. While health centers are committed to fully participating in the COVID-19 response, they are in need of immediate federal resources.
