With the recent decision by our Governor to place the state on a stay-at-home order until April 30, 2020, the Session, in compliance with this order, has extended our COVID-19 operational plan to April 30, 2020. As before, we are keeping close watch on the situation and will update this plan as the situation warrants. The following highlights all the major changes:
Weekly worship will continue to be in partnership with First Presbyterian- Charlotte and can be viewed Sundays @ 11am on channel 64, fupcc.org or facebook.com/firstunitedcharlotte.
2. Bible study will be conducted weekly by Zoom. An email will be sent soon with Zoom details.
3. All other ministry activities are canceled thru April 30th.
4. No outside groups will have access to the facility thru April 30th.
We will not have standing office hours. If you need to visit the facility please call or email the Clerk, Elder Natalie Beard, to schedule. (email@example.com)
6. It is important that we all continue to support the work of the ministry through our financial gifts. Gifts can be mailed to 406 N. College St. Charlotte, NC 28202 or given online @ fupcc.org - click the "
" button. (
Please note: Any donation received after Tuesday, mailed or dropped, will be deposited the following Tuesday.)
We encourage everyone to continue to follow the directives of the CDC, federal, state and local governments. Please be safe and cautious. If you have any questions, concerns and/or needs please reach out to your Shepherds. Rev. Small is available to all, as well. Take this time to continue to read the word of God, our Lenten Devotional and pray. We leave you with Psalm 23:4-
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
To God be the glory, still!
Yours in Christ,
