I am writing to you because you are one of our faithful donors and there is a hungry child who needs your help right now.
As you know, the coronavirus pandemic is having devastating effects on people all over the world. At our Kay Anj Village in Haiti, we have been forced to close our school and 120 children are without food.
This in an emergency. These children depend on school being open to receive their 2 daily meals. Last week we were able to share some of our reserved food with these students and their families.
Sadly, this week we haven't been able to duplicate those efforts. With Good Friday and Easter quickly approaching, I would love to see each family receive necessary food.
You can help! You can send a meal kit with 2 days worth of food to a child in need (and their family) for just $26. And right now, that $26 dollars will stretch out to 4 days of food because your gift to Helping Haitian Angels will be doubled by a generous matching gift up to $10,000!
This means that every $1 of your gift becomes $2. So your gift of $26 will provide not two todays of meals but 4 days of meals to a hungry child.
You can provide a child with a meal kit of simple food that includes rice, beans, vegetables, bread and eggs.
These kids are going through a tough time. This is the second time that school has been closed indefinitely. Their education impacted and now they don't know when they will receive their next nutritious meal.
